Foam cement cementing technology is mainly aimed at reducing the density of cement slurry and building with advanced ground devices. The main characteristics of foam cement cementing are:

1. Compared with other low density cement, it has lower density and higher strength.

2. The cement slurry possesses compressible elastic micro-bubbles. There is no “weightlessness” in the process of cement solidification, which has the effect of preventing gas channeling.

3. Compressible elastic bubbles can bond well between casing and cement slurry, cement slurry and borehole wall.

4. After the solidification of the foam cement, there is a small and uniform bubble in the cement ring. It has certain plasticity and is beneficial to perforation operation. It has the characteristics of low heat conductivity.
